What should I pay attention to when purchasing a trampoline?
The most important points when purchasing a trampoline:
- Please note the thickness of the frame, and the galvanizing process of the frame.
- Pay attention to the type of spring: double conical or straight spring, and what is the spring length (short springs spring very stiff, long springs spring very smoothly). Also pay attention to the galvanizing process (so that the springs do not rust and are durable).
- How many times has the jumping mat been stitched? Are there repair options?
- And most importantly: what is the sail quality of the edge cushion, and the thickness of the foam in the edge cushion, and does the edge cushion lie completely over the springs.

Can I buy spare parts for my Akrobat Trampoline?
Yes, this is possible. We have replacement parts for all Akrobat Trampolines.
Which type of trampoline is most suitable?
We often see that when children are a little younger, they often choose a round trampoline. This shape invites them to play on it, because you have space in all directions.
When children get a little older and start jumping more difficult jumps, we see that people often choose a rectangular trampoline. This is because you can get more jumping power out of it.
How can I safely trampoline jump?
The safest way to jump is to follow the safety guidelines that come with the Trampoline.
In addition, we advise using a safety net at all times with a standing Trampoline.
Also, do not forget to maintain the indicated free space around the Trampoline.
How much free space do I need around the Trampoline?
The free space required is 1 meter. This includes the width of the edge cushion.
Choosing a trampoline with or without a safety net?
We recommend leaving enough space to free the Trampoline. However, this does not always work in practice. The advice is 65 centimetres. If this cannot be (fully) guaranteed, use a half corner or full net.
Dig in a trampoline or opt for a standing trampoline?
A standing trampoline is at the mowing level. The advantage of this is that the trampoline can be assembled easily and relatively quickly. If you are going to move or want to move the trampoline, this is easy to do.
Another advantage is: When you jump on a trampoline, you always have air displacement. Due to the height of a standing trampoline, the air can easily escape and this gives you maximum jumping performance. A disadvantage can be that a standing trampoline is a somewhat large obstacle in the garden and is less easy to conceal.
Then we know two options in the category of buried Trampolines: The Inground and the Flat to the Ground. The advantage is that these Trampolines are more beautifully concealed. The only disadvantage is that the location of these Trampolines is fixed in the garden because a hole has to be dug to be able to use this Trampoline.
Can a standing trampoline also be dug in later?
Yes, this is possible. In practice, however, the hole has to be dug deeper to ensure that the legs fit in.
Why is an Inground Trampoline still above ground?
An Inground Trampoline is in fact a standing Trampoline with shorter legs. This one is also, just like a standing Trampoline, at the mowing level, but then at a height of about 25 centimeters.
What is the difference between an Inground and a Flat to the Ground Trampoline?
An Inground Trampoline is basically a standing Trampoline with shorter legs. This Trampoline stands just like a standing Trampoline at the mowing level. In this case at a height of 25 centimeters.
A Flat to the Ground is a fully sunken trampoline that is placed at the same level as the mowing level.
Besides the fact that this trampoline lies completely flat in the ground, it also has integrated formwork on the frame.
How to choose the right size trampoline?
In the future you want to keep it fun for your children. Then choose a size that is less focused on the age of the young jumper. It is important that they also have enough space to jump their tricks on later.
If you do not take this into account, you will soon see that people no longer enjoy using a trampoline and that they will use it less or not at all.
If you want to know more about this, watch this video , in which owner Jerry explains everything clearly again.
How is the size of a trampoline indicated?
When we talk about the size of the trampoline, we are talking about the outer dimension. This includes the edge cushion.
If you want to know the exact size of the jumping surface, then subtract the width of the edge cushion from the dimensions. Keep about 70 centimeters in mind for this .
What is the size of the jumping surface of a Trampoline?
The size of the jumping surface is the size of the Trampoline, minus the width of the edge cushion.
How many people can use a trampoline at the same time?
For safety reasons, we always use one person at a time on the Trampoline. We know that this always works differently in practice, if your child is going to play with friends. Keep in mind that the maximum weight that the Trampoline can carry is not exceeded.
What size is most common?
The most common size we sell is in the rectangular Trampolines the 380x250cm and in the round version the 365cm. These are two sizes that in practice also provide jumping fun in the future.
What is a suitable surface for standing trampolines?
The most suitable surface for a standing trampoline is still grass or artificial grass. Often, shock-absorbing rubber tiles are also used.
How can I prevent weeds from growing under my in-ground trampoline?
To prevent weeds from growing under your buried trampoline, you can install anti-root cloth.
However, in practice it sometimes happens that this does come through. Always make sure that this is removed in time, to ensure that the weeds do not grow through the Springdoek. This causes (irreparable) damage.
Our Primus Flat to the Ground Trampolines are supplied with an anti-root cloth as standard.
Which trampolines are suitable for public use?
We have various Trampolines in our assortment for public use. For that we would like to refer you to this page . Here is a current overview of the Trampolines for public use.
If you have any questions, you can always contact us by phone (0318-512614) or by sending an email to: info@12springstrampolines.com
Can a trampoline be left outside?
Yes, that is possible. Our Akrobat Trampolines can certainly remain outside. However, we do advise to maintain the Trampoline well to maintain its quality.
Also consider a cover for the period when it is not in use.
What is the best way to maintain my Akrobat Trampoline?
It is best to keep your trampoline clean. For example, if it is under a tree, resin from the tree can end up on your trampoline. Clean the edge of your trampoline regularly with lukewarm water. If you still want to use a cleaning agent, we recommend a mild agent such as green soap.
Also make sure to remove branches and leaves from your Trampoline. You can do this with a soft broom or a leaf blower. If you leave this on it, it can eventually damage your Trampoline.
Are repairs to a jumping mat also possible?
Yes, repair is certainly possible. However, there are guidelines for this. Please contact us by phone (0318-512614) or send an email to: info@12springstrampolines.com
Does the protective cover also fit a trampoline with a safety net?
No. The covers do not fit on the trampoline when the safety net is attached. If you want to cover the trampoline for the winter period, for example, first dismantle the safety net.
Does the Trampoline fit in my car?
The Trampoline fits in almost any station wagon. In other spacious cars it is also possible, depending on the size Trampoline you purchase. Of course we can also deliver the Trampoline to your home.
The Akrobat, 12SPRINGS and Elfje Trampolines are delivered to your home free of charge (within the Netherlands).
Can I assemble the trampoline myself?

Do you also do assembly work?
Yes, we can also carry out the installation of the trampoline.
Do you also install in an existing hole?
Yes, this is possible. However, this is always done on request.
Can you also take care of digging in the trampoline?
Yes, we can also offer excavation work. Request a free quote.
What are the costs for installation and/or mounting?
Request a free quote for this. You can do this by sending an e-mail to: info@12springstrampolines.com
